Terms of Service

Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for use of the SafeClick service (the "Service") and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the operator.
Article 2 — Definition of the Service
- The "Service" is a security assistant app for Android devices that detects messenger and SMS notifications and provides the following three features:
- Link check: Extracts URLs from notifications and automatically checks them via Google Web Risk. Dangerous links trigger an audible and vibration alert.
- Catch: Captures messages matching your keyword/sender rules and fires an audible alert. Captured content is stored on your device only.
- Message summary: Summarises long message bodies with AI on user request (credits deducted).
- "User" means any individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- The Service is powered by third-party services including Google Web Risk API, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Cloudflare AI Gateway, Google Gemini, Supabase, and Cloudflare Workers.
Article 3 — Limitations and Disclaimer
3.1 Purpose and limitations
The Service is a supplementary tool providing link check, Catch, and summary features. It does not guarantee detection of all threats or delivery of all alerts and is not a complete safety solution.
3.2 Disclaimer
The operator is not responsible for damages arising from the following:
- New phishing sites not yet registered with Google Web Risk: Cases where no warning was generated because the site is not yet in the database
- Links delivered as images or QR codes: Cases where the link was in an image, photo, or QR code and could not be read as text
- Messages viewed directly in an open chat app: Cases where the user opened the app themselves so no notification was generated and the message was not detected
- Offline state: Device offline or background execution restricted
- Required permissions not granted: User did not allow permissions required for the Service to operate
- Third-party service errors: Damages caused by false positives or false negatives from Google Web Risk or other external services
- Message summary AI errors: Damages caused by inaccurate or incomplete AI summary results
- User error or inattention: Misunderstanding the scope of the Service's features or accessing a flagged link
3.3 Liability cap
Except where the operator has acted with willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the Service. The liability cap for damages related to paid features shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user.
Article 4 — Fees and Payment
4.1 Free features
The following features are provided free of charge without credits:
- Link check: 50 checks/day
- Catch alerts: unlimited (captured content stored locally on device; Catch Report is Premium only)
4.2 Credits
Credits are the in-service virtual currency deducted when using paid features. Sold at a rate of 1 credit = 3 KRW.

4.3 Credit deductions

4.4 Premium Package
400 credits are deducted per calendar month (YYYY-MM), unlocking the following features for that month:
- Expanded link check limit: 100 checks/day · 1,500/month
- Catch Report (captured content collection and viewing) activated
If not renewed the following month, the account automatically reverts to the free tier (50 checks/day). Toggle and rule settings are preserved and resume immediately upon the next monthly purchase.
4.5 Refund policy
In-app purchase refunds follow Google Play refund policy. Credits that have already been deducted (consumed) are not refunded as a general rule. Duplicate deductions or other operator-attributable errors will be resolved by credit restoration or refund.
Article 5 — User Obligations
- Users must not register under another person's identity or provide false information.
- Users must not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or share it with third parties without the operator's prior consent.
- Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service (e.g., hacking, reverse engineering, excessive API calls).
- Users must not use the Catch feature to collect other people's messages without consent or share them with third parties.
Article 6 — Amendments
- The operator may revise these Terms when necessary.
- When revising these Terms, the operator will notify users at least 7 days before the effective date via in-app notice or email. For changes affecting material rights or obligations, notice will be given at least 30 days in advance.
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 7 — Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- In the event of a dispute arising from use of the Service, the operator and user will first attempt resolution through good-faith discussion.
- If discussion fails, the Seoul Central District Court shall have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction.
